To smudge, hold one end of the stick into a flame for a few seconds. Once the bundle has caught, blow it out, the ends should “cherry” and the smoke will begin. KEEP THE BUNDLE IN A FIRE SAFE DISH OR ABALONE SHELL. Go around the space you are cleansing (we recommend in counter-clockwise circles to help banish negative energy) with your affirmations. Use a turkey feather or your hand to ‘sweep’ the room with the smoke. Keep the windows and doors open to let the old energy out, and bring in new energy from the universe!
